The owner of Velour Occasions is a creative professional who recently entered the event planning and coordination scene, bringing with them a strong foundation built through diverse social and hospitality-based roles. Though new to the industry, their passion for creating meaningful and memorable experiences has been shaped by years of hands-on involvement in entertainment and service-driven environments.

They began their journey in music and entertainment, training and developing as a DJ under the mentorship of Mike Caliber. This experience cultivated a deep understanding of event flow, atmosphere, and audience engagement. In addition, they pursued formal culinary training and became a certified chef through the Culinary Institute of Jamaica, gaining valuable insight into hospitality standards, presentation, and seamless service execution.

These experiences collectively inform the vision behind Velour Occasions. By blending creativity, organization, and attention to detail, the owner approaches every event with a unique, well-rounded perspective.
